How to Sell Anything to Anyone

In order to sell anything to anyone there are a number of things that you need to do:

Create Curiosity

Early on in your presentation try to create a sense of curiosity within the client that encourages them to compete your sales presentation. A good way of achieving this is to tell the client that there is a misspelled word within the sales presentation and if they find it they will get a special deal! You could also tell them that if they pay attention to you then they will discover the answer. This is a great technique for selling because it makes the client listen to your sales presentation which could also lead to a sale.

Tell a story

Everyone loves to hear a story because they need to become a part of it to understand it. By doing this it gives you the opportunity to tell them a story that allows them to experience the product that you are selling in their imaginations. By doing this it not only enables you to build rapport with the client but also creates an image that is hard to forget.

Pretend to the client

A good way to sell is to pretend to the client that they already have the product and describe what it mans to them. Basically, what you are doing is taking them into the future and telling them to imagine the product in their hands. By doing this the client will begin to think up benefits of having the product all on their own without even thinking about it.

Credibility of the product

Try to highlight to the client that other experts and clients are happy buyers of your products and services. But make sure you do this in a believable manner and provide proof because if you do not the client will not believe you. You could get proof by asking other happy buyers to give a testimonial and provide them with a free gift fro their trouble. By doing this you are increasing the credibility of your product or service.

Sense of urgency

A good way to sell is to make the client feel as if they need to buy the product or service now without waiting. You can do this by saying that there are limited supplies or the deal you are offering will not last long. You must come up with a reason why they must buy it!

Give away a free item and make them feel guilty

By giving clients something free, they start to feel guilty and feel the need to give you something back. Thus, give the client a free item, that is of value and they will most probably buy something from you pout of guilt.

Create a lasting relationship

Once you have sold something to a client then you have ultimately gained there trust and they are happy so try to make them happy again buy offering them other products and services. The key is to build a relationship with them and get them to keep purchasing from you.

By adopting these strategies you will ultimately sell yourself, your company and the product or service that you are selling.
